A HERO’S LIGHT |
|
This started as “Howard’s Light” in memory of my late husband Sergeant Howard J. Plouff, II. Howard died in the line of duty on February 23, 2007. He was a great man, a hard working cop and a hero to me and our girls. Unfortunately, too many law enforcement professionals like Howard have been killed in the line of duty. They may have left us, but will never be forgotten. They are all true heroes. That is why we now call this candle a “Hero’s Light.” Please display it with pride. It shows the bravery, courage, honor, respect, integrity and love that my late husband Howard and all other fallen officers displayed throughout their lives. By displaying this light you will not only honor and remember those heroes who have died in the line of duty but you will be showing your respect for those still fighting the fight today. The color blue is also symbolic of peace. It is our hope that the continuous brightness of the Hero's Light brings peace. Sincerely,
Joyce, Brandy &
Holly Plouff All proceeds from the sale of our blue candle lights go to the Police Benevolent Foundation (www.pbfi.org) which works to support surviving families, provides scholarships, and helps police officers suffering traumatic injuries and/or post traumatic stress disorder.
